RV Park Rules

We welcome all Scenic Canyon RV Park visitors and consider our guests to be members of our extended family. The following rules are designed to ensure that all visitors have a quiet, pleasant, relaxing visit.

Speed limit in the park is 10 MPH.

Please conserve water. Due to the drought, water is scarce and expensive.

Keep all vehicles on the hard rocked surfaces - except when parked in the overflow area.

Please stay off of areas marked by signs.

Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7:30 AM.

Motorcycles, ATVs, mini-bikes and scooters may only be used to and from the designated overflow parking areas. They are subject to additional daily charges. They may not be used during quiet hours.

No washing of cars, trucks, trailers, RVs or any other motorized vehicle.

Check out time is 12:00 noon.

Parents (or Grandparents) are responsible for the behavior and safety of children in their charge at all times. Do not let your children "run wild". They must not be allowed to disturb other campers. Keep them within your eyesight at all times.

We allow small pets. They must be on leashes outdoors. Please do not leave pets unattended in RVs for long periods. Clean up after your pet. Keep your pet in your campsite area.

One RV per site. A maximum of four persons per site. One (1) additional vehicle that towed the RV or was towed by the RV may also occupy the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in designated overflow areas at all times and are subject to additional charges. One ATV or Motorcycle may also occupy the site if it is kept on the hard rocked surfaces, is legal for street use in the State of New Mexico and does not interfere with the activities of others.

Park Requirements for use of ATVs and Motorcycles: The maximum noise level for these vehicles at 50% of redline engine speed is 96 dB measured according to State of New Mexico standards. Simply, this means that the induction and exhaust systems must be street legal stock and in good operating condition. No performance modifications allowed. The vehicle must exhibit a state Registration to verify that it is legal.
Oil changing or other maintenance or repairs are strictly prohibited in this park. We will attempt to accommodate your needs if the work is strictly of an emergency nature and approval of park management is obtained in advance.

We do not provide restroom or shower facilities. Full hook-up RVs only.

Parties are strictly prohibited. Creation of a disturbance, intoxication or annoyances of any kind including loud music or TV are strictly prohibited. The police will be called, you will be required to leave and we will not refund space rent.

Maintain your own insurance on your unit. We are not responsible for your losses due to theft, fire, storms, accidents or rising or rushing water.

We reserve the right to make changes in the rules, regulations and fees that we deem necessary.
